Research
- My main research is on the DeepStroke project that aims to advance stroke emergency triage and patient self-assessment with mobile AI. I have lead several publications in major venues.
- Previously, I collaborated on (1) vision-language understanding of placenta and (2) bodily expression of emotion projects.
- I'm broadly interested in the domain of AI/DS, including but not limited to Data Mining, Computer Vision and their applications in Healthcare/Medical, Finance, Transportation and Learning Analytics domain.
- Broadly interested in other AI and computational techniques for different modalities of data to “talk” for themselves and make positive impact to a better world.
